The site states, “The average budget for a destination wedding is estimated at US$28,000.” Johnson highlighted research showing that couples often choose wedding destinations that reflect preferences, seeking to exchange vows in natural settings. “These include locations such as beaches, historic sites, castles, and mountains.”
Future market insights.com, focusing on the Caribbean only in its Caribbean Destination Wedding Market Outlook (2023 to 2033) states that the caribbean destination wedding market size is projected to increase from US$ 4,995.2 million in 2023 to US$ 17,349.6 million by 2033.
They describe the destination wedding as the type of wedding where couples choose a location away from their residence or hometown to celebrate their wedding. They usually decide to host the wedding event in a different city, country, or any exotic location.
