Juici Patties opens in Miramar South Florida

 


 On Saturday, February 1, 2025, Juici Patties run by CEO Daniel Chin opened the company’s fifth location in South Florida, this time in Miramar.

Juici Patties is expanding its presence in Florida in the United States and has also launched an app which facilitates access to ordering the Jamaican meal.

The Jamaican fast-food franchise is also preparing to open a new location in Boca Raton, aiming for a March or April debut in 2025. That store will be located on State Road in Boca Raton. Construction bids are set to begin soon for refurbishment.

Other Florida locations are in Lauderhill, Hollywood in Florida, Lauderlakes , Sunset and now Miraman. The company which has been advertising for franchise holders in the United States is yet to open in Miami.

New menu items in Florida locations include single and double avocado patty combos, with staple beef, cheese and chicken patties also offered alongside coco bread and juices. The company also offers to cater events and has a “buy ten get two free deals”.

The company’s new app hosted by Chow Hound, allows users to choose the Juici Patty location they wish to order; select the time they wish to pick up order (delivery service is said to be coming soon to select stores).

One can choose a pickup time for the same day or order in advance (great if catering for an event is needed).

As outlined on the company’s website, Juici Patties began when 16-year-old Jukie Chin, the company’s founder, started making signature Juici Patties in his mother’s kitchen and selling them in his parents’ grocery store.

The first Juici Patties location opened in 1980 with only three employees – A cashier, a baker and Jukie Chin. Today there are more than 60 Juici Patties locations on the island of Jamaica. Juici Patties also exports to 10 Caribbean islands.

Juici arrived in the USA in 2024, according to its website. Its website states, “We are expanding in the U.S. Juici Patties’ first American stores opened last summer. Soon you’ll find us all over South Florida serving our flavorful Jamaican patties built on years of culinary tradition and just the right amount of Jamaican spice.”
