Limners and Bards to Introduce licensing models in expansion push
Chairman of advertising and content creation company Limners and Bards, Steven Gooden, indicates in the company’s new annual report that the LAB will be exploring AI-driven solutions “to optimise efficiency and performance.”
The company is also considering market expansion with a new licensing model. Gooden said in the report, “We have made significant progress in our geographic expansion strategy, where we are targeting new markets and global clientele.
“ Beyond Borders growth strategy will be instrumental in expanding The LAB’s reach and revenue potential. This initiative is centered on three key pillars: expanding our client base beyond Jamaica and the Caribbean into North America and Europe; enhancing recurring revenue streams by introducing licensing models for our proprietary content, marketing tools, and creative assets and diversifying revenue sources through content monetisation and dynamic partnerships that will allow us to broaden our service offerings.”
Gooden stated, “ Through these initiatives, we will cement The LAB’s reputation as an agile and globally competitive agency.”
The LAB is a full-service, fully integrated advertising and film production company.
The revenue for the period ended October 31, 2024, achieved was derived from the company’s core business lines: Media totaling $492.7 million, followed by Production with $249.0 million and Agency with $216.4 million.
Net profit of $82.9 million, was a 44.7 per cent increase over the comparable period.
Earnings per share increased from $0.06 to $0.09.
