ibex Global names Phil Taylor as new Country Manager for Jamaica

 

Ibex a provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) and AI-powered customer engagement technology solutions, on February 12, 2025, announced the appointment of Phil Taylor as Senior Vice President and Country Manager for Jamaica.

He replaces Tamara Ricketts-Brown in the senior role. Ibex Jamaica had approximately 6000 employees in 2023.

In his new role, Phil will report directly to David Wilkerson, Executive Vice President of Global Operations, and will oversee the company’s operations and strategic initiatives in Jamaica, the company stated in its media release.

Ibex operates a global CX delivery center model consisting of approximately 30 operations facilities around the world, for global companies across retail, e-commerce, healthcare, fintech, utilities and logistics.

The company says that today it has over 30,000 employees and says it manages nearly 175 million critical customer interactions, adding over US$2.2 billion in lifetime customer revenue each year and driving a truly differentiated customer experience.”

Ibex says that its new country manager for Jamaica joined ibex two years ago as Vice President of Operations and has over 20 years of experience in the contact center industry.

Prior to joining ibex, he held leadership roles at TaskUs and Alorica.

The company was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia. IBEX Limited operates as a subsidiary of Resource Group International Limited.

Ibex Limited had revenue of US$140.68 million in the quarter ending December 31, 2024, with 6.07 per cent growth. This brings the company's revenue in the last twelve months to US $521.73 million, up 1.66 per cent year-over-year. In the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, IBEX Limited had annual revenue of $508.57M, down -2.78 per cent.

Ibex which first entered Jamaica in 2016 has employees across St. Catherine, Kingston, and St. Ann. Its largest operation is St. Catherine where the company occupies three multistory towers in GTech Park. Jamaica accounts for about a fifth of Ibex’s global workforce today.

Global locations include the United States, Jamaica, Nicuaraga and Columbia.
