Bruno Loffler appointed new Group Head of Finance and Administration at Paramount Trading Jamaica Limited

 

Paramount Trading Limited has appointed Bruno Loffler as Group Head of Finance and Administration effective March 1, 2025.

Paramount Jamaica is a manufacturer and distributor of chemical raw materials to the food and beverage industry, construction, hospitality, the bauxite and mining industries among many others in Jamaica.

Loffler was previously CFO at Everything Fresh Limited. Management at Paramount in its announcement through the Jamaica Stock Exchange stated “ Loffler brings over three decades of experience in finance, auditing and supply chain management to Paramount.”

He has held senior commercial and financial management positions across various industries, including manufacturing, distribution and retail.

Loffler is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Mr. Loffler holds a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc.) in Natural Sciences, majoring in Physics with a minor in Computer Science, from the University of the West Indies, Mona (UWI).

He has also attained a Graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). Mr. Loffler began his career as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers and held key leadership roles at Appliance Traders Limited (ATL) and Jamaica Flour Mills Limited.

He has also served as a Senior Finance executive at Trade Winds Citrus Limited, The Meat Experts Limited and Everything Fresh Limited, another publicly listed company on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange, where he spent the last six years as Chief Financial Officer (C.F.O.).

Paramount said that his strengths are financial strategy, corporate governance and operational efficiency.

In the last 12 months, JMSE:PTL had revenue of JMD 1.57 billion and -144.96 million in losses. Loss per share was -0.09.

Analysts at Simply Wall Street stated about the company that Risk Analysis that its debt is not well covered by operating cash flow

Its Dividend of 4.46 per cent is not well covered by earnings of free cash flow; and that Paramount has a highly volatile share price compared to other companies on the Junior market. Market cap is $2 billion.
